Research Activities in Secure and Intelligent Computing
KSIS Lab brings together research in secure computer architecture, cybersecurity, cryptography, intelligent systems, and hardware acceleration.
KSIS Lab is a research group in the Computer Engineering Department at Kuwait University, directed by Dr. Abbas A. Fairouz, Dr. Jassim M. Aljuraidan, and Dr. Ameer A. Mohammed.
The lab's research spans several interconnected areas: Dr. Fairouz leads work on secure computer architecture, chiplet-based systems, and hardware acceleration; Dr. Aljuraidan focuses on cybersecurity, information-flow control, mobile OS security, and privacy; Dr. Mohammed works on cryptography, quantum computing, machine learning, and adversarial robustness.
Collaborative projects draw on expertise across all three areas, including applied AI for aquaculture and privacy-preserving communication platforms.
