Privacy Violation Detection in Instant Messaging Platforms

KSIS Lab faculty are involved in research on privacy violation detection and sensitivity classification in instant messaging platforms.

KSIS Lab is involved in a funded research project focused on detecting privacy violations in instant messaging platforms. The project investigates automated methods for identifying when sensitive personal information is inappropriately shared or exposed through messaging services.

Dr. Jassim M. Aljuraidan serves as Principal Investigator on this project, with participation from other lab faculty. The work draws on techniques from information-flow analysis, natural language processing, and security policy modeling.

This project connects to the lab's broader interests in privacy-preserving systems, mobile platform security, and access control.
